To mark the launch of the Non-Aligned Archive, we invite you to join us for a themed walking tour titled “Non-Aligned Zagreb”, which will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM in front of the Main Railway Station (Trg kralja Tomislava 12, under the clock at the main entrance).
The Non-Aligned Archive is a community archive that explores, preserves, and communicates the heritage of African, Asian, and American communities in Croatia. The project emerges from the need to preserve and empower the histories and presence of Global South communities that have shaped Zagreb — often invisibly, yet deeply and lastingly.
The walk will be led by Nawar Ghanim Murad, guiding us through the traces of former international students and to places significant to the Non-Aligned and their everyday struggles and encounters in Zagreb. The walk lasts approximately two hours, is free of charge, and will be held in Croatian. English translation can be provided if needed.
Spots are limited, so registration is required by May 9 via email: stella@dobrojutro.org.
Join us in uncovering the hidden stories of Non-Aligned Zagreb — stories that connect the past, the present, and potential shared futures.
The Non-Aligned Archive is organized by the cultural association Jutro, with the financial support of the City of Zagreb, and additional support from the Moleskine Foundation and Kultura Nova Foundation. The program is held in partnership with the Subversive Festival.
